       Our cedar posts are Texas Hill Country Cedar (aka Mountain Cedar) which are preferable because they have "good hearts" - meaning the hard wood in the center of the post is larger than other posts available.

The #1 posts are commonly called "Yards" which means they are straight. The #2 posts are commonly called "wires" which means they can have UP TO a 30 degree curve in them. Not all #2s are real crooked.
